These are photos from my trip to explore the city of Boston a few years ago. With family along the South Shore, I'd rarely had a chance to truly explore the heart of the city. But with Judy, my photographer sister, we were able to capture the essence of the urban landscape to use as my backdrop for my first book, Immortal Dynasty.
We photographed our journey from the Old North Church down to the university district. Along the way, we experienced the typical "tourist" stops like Faneuil Hall. But my agenda included more than city-themed trinkets and real New England clam chowder. I wanted to see the Egyptian exhibit at the Museum of Fine Arts, and I wanted to see the blend of old and new architecture in one of the oldest cities in America.
